Most Malinois that end up in rescue weren't badly bred — they were well bred, for a job their household never gave them.

A Malinois needs two or more hours of real physical and mental work every day, for the ten-plus years of its life, in a household that keeps training consistent. If that sentence doesn't sound like your week, the breed will find a job of its own choosing — and you usually won't like it.
